Fast and Fierce: Scion FR-S Premieres

With the grip and grit of a passionate performer, the 2013 Scion FR-S was revealed Wednesday (Nov. 30) at a Hollywood event for media and enthusiasts.

 
The long-awaited sports car boasts a flat 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine that delivers 200 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 151 lb-ft torque at 6,600 rpm. The engine, which incorporates Toyota's D4-S injection system, mates with either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters.
